My top 5 make-up essentials

I love make-up, the cases, the shades, everything! But let's face it, I'm not good at it. Took classes, talked with professionals, watched a zillion tutorials...but nothing happens. I cannot accomplish a good smokey eye nor anything. And if someone applies make up on me, it doesn't get any easier on them. The eye liner makes me cry a lot, it is terrible!. And the mascara makes me cry when I have to remove it (takes so long!). I tried a lot of make up, bought a lot of really cute stuff that do not have a clue how to apply, even got the brush set to practice and get better, but no matter what I buy, I always come back to these five. So, if you do not know how to put make up on, I assure you this one are for beginners. 

Here are all my favorite things from my make up bag. I have some more stuff, that I like, but don't use much or is nothing special. 

First I will start with my star products. I know they are pricey but they are worth it. The Dior Hydra Life skin tint is a moisturizer with tint. How amazing is that? In Austria I had to get a moisturizing cream because my face was getting really dry, I have normal skin and the cold was damaging it. I mixed the cream with a Lush color supplement, it was amazing. but I prefer that one for winter and this one for summer and special ocassions. My second favorite product is the Dior skin nude a great hydrating concealer. 

These are magic. They are Dior skin Poudre Shimmer in copper diamond and rose diamond. I still don't really understand what they are, the girl at the store recommended them and explained me carefully how to apply it, so after the other two I apply one of these. And use the darker shades for the cheeks and the lighter ones for the chin, nose and forehead. It gives a cute glow. Im crazy for them. I got the bronze one a few years ago, and I dropped it the first time I used it. And the pink one I got it this year for my Bday. 

And then comes my favorite lipstick and mascara. Yes, I know I said I did not like mascaras, but this one is different. It is a Max Factor vivid impact mascara 907. I barely ever use the brown side but the golden one, I love it! It is easy to remove and gives a great bronze shade to the eyelashes. The lipstick is a Dior Rouge serum 675. I have chapped lips so this works as a shade and a moisturizer. 

So, that's what I always use. 

And to finish, I wanted to show you these new items I got. They are from this season, but I believe they have the potential to become essentials. The Cover Girl blastflipstick is great, and it is actually easy to create the look. Of course I do not look like Sofia Vergara, but I like it. I had to buy the La Bastidane lip balm as an emergency (because of my chapped lips) and it is amazing! I even went back and got another one, just in case. I think it is only available at Marionnaud stores. And to finish, the WOW product. This Yves Saint Laurent eyeshadow set from the spring 2012 collection is really cute. The shades were so attracting, I had to try it on, in my hand, of course! I even thought I could never use it, would never be able to apply it!. Nonsense! They are not really that colorful. If you use a brush you can make it more shocking, but if you apply it with the fingers or those tiny brushes that come in the set, it is just glitter with a light shade. I love it :)
